Everything for Auto LPG in One Place
Auto Gas Gaga is a workshop that has been working with auto LPG from the very beginning. Whether your system is not running properly, you have noticed higher consumption, or the car behaves differently on gas than on petrol, we are here to sort it out.
We work with all types of LPG systems, from older vacuum-based setups to modern sequential systems (Lovato, STAG, Zavoli, BRC, Landi Renzo, and others).
When Your LPG System Needs Attention
An LPG system, like any other system on a car, needs maintenance. These are the most common signs that something is not right:
- Car judders on gas - runs smoothly on petrol but you feel juddering or misfiring on LPG
- Higher gas consumption - you are using more than before with the same driving habits
- Slow switchover to gas - the system takes a long time to switch or does not switch from petrol at all
- Power loss on gas - you feel a noticeable difference in pull between petrol and LPG
- Check engine light - came on after LPG installation or while driving on gas
- Smell of gas - in the cabin or around the engine
What an LPG System Inspection Includes
Software Diagnostics
We connect to the LPG ECU and read the operating parameters: injection times, corrections, temperatures, and pressure. This shows whether the system is properly calibrated.
Mechanical Component Check
We inspect the reducer (vaporizer), injectors, filters, hoses, and connections. We look for leaks, wear, and parts that are nearing the end of their service life.
Map Adjustment
If the parameters are outside acceptable limits, we adjust the injection maps so the system runs at its best. This directly affects consumption and the quality of running on gas.
Test Drive
After every adjustment, we take the car for a test drive. What looks good on screen has to feel right on the road too.
Systems We Work With
We have experience with every generation of LPG system:
- Sequential systems (most common on newer cars)
- Older vacuum-based systems
- Direct injection systems
Whatever system you have, we can inspect it, tune it, and repair it.
When the Situation Is Urgent
Stop driving on gas and come in as soon as possible if:
- You smell gas inside the cabin
- The engine starts stalling on gas
- You hear unusual noises from the engine bay that were not there before
- The check engine light is flashing (not just on, but flashing)
Frequently Asked Questions
How often should the LPG system be serviced?
Every system has a manufacturer recommendation, but as a general rule, every 10,000 to 15,000 km or once a year, whichever comes first.
Does LPG damage the engine?
A properly installed and maintained LPG system does not damage the engine. Problems only arise when maintenance is neglected or the installation was poorly done.
How much can I save with LPG?
That depends on your consumption and how much you drive. Use our savings calculator to work out the exact amount for your situation.
Do you install LPG systems?
Yes. LPG installation is one of our core services and has been since 1996. We install sequential systems from Lovato, STAG, BRC, Landi Renzo, Zavoli, and other major brands, matched to your vehicle and how you drive. We agree on a visit, look at what suits your car best, and recommend a system. After installation we handle the tuning, test drive, and stay with the system until it settles in.
How long does an LPG service take?
A standard service (filter replacement, inspection, and tuning) takes about an hour. If parts need replacing or more detailed diagnostics are required, it can take longer.
LPG System Not Running Right?
Do not ignore problems with your gas system. A small issue today can turn into an expensive repair tomorrow. Call us or come in for an inspection. We will quickly identify what is going on and agree on the fix.
